Held me hostage to pay!

Do NOT hire Moving Specialist US Florida! I spoke to Mike who told me it would cost $99 an hour. This is the text message sent after speaking with him. I’d like to highlight that it states complementary services like blankets & shrink wrap. Morning of they have a contract that I sign with more fees, gas for traveling from Championship Gate which why would I hire someone coming from that far away?! And want to pay a $96 fuel fee for less than a mile moving?! A truck cleaning fee of $75 even though the truck wasn’t dirty from moving a 1 bedroom apartment of items. No plants, broken glass, etc. “2 professional movers” were kids with slides on their feet & destroyed items of mine. They showed up late to my house & took forever to load the truck. My BF & helped them. But the best part is they held me hostage for payment after I was already showing signs of distress from what this might cost me. For a mile away move from a living room full of items ready to go into a studio apartment it took them 5 + hours?! And made me Zelle the payment before they would unload the truck. Mind you the truck is a trailer attached to a truck. So for $99 an hour in my mind turns out to cost me $722!!!! I don’t know how they get away with this type of business model. Please help me spread the word & let the world know that they do not deserve your business!

Moving services

I was moving on Saturday October 16th from biscayne cove Aventura to promenade in Aventura. The move was about average with a substantial amount of furniture. It was a two bedroom place with several items such as a kayak, electric scooters etc. The team arrived on time, well dressed and spoken, and really friendly. The move did take a significant amount of time and several items needed packaging for safety and storage. I preferred the team to do so professionally and had no issue paying extra for the time and supplies. The total time of the move was roughly about 8 hours. The guys did not even take a break!! I was shocked they completed it in that time. The original salesman I spoke to gave me an hourly rate and informed me some of the items would need additional packaging and fees due to the size of some items. I had no issue with either. Moving can be stressful, and this company made it easy and refreshing. Wish them the best and will use them in the future.

Google has them closed

We hadn't seen the reviews before we booked them but they haven't changed from everyone else's reviews. We're told on the phone and chat that we wouldn't be charged until they were done so that the hours were calculated correctly. However, we're then told we had to pay nearly $1000 before they unpacked anything. They changed us for the 3+ hours they were late due to a flat tire, a half hour+ lunch and the half hour+they needed to drive to Walmart for a tool to take the doors off our fridge (which they dropped getting it out of the trailer). They refused to take the glass tops to my desk, saying they didn't have anything to wrap them in, even tho we were told they would. Broke three boxes of glass/ceramics because they dropped out of the back of the trailer when they opened the door. Avoid at all costs

Mover Holding Entire Home for Ransom

Two Man Movers LLC Extorting Customers By Holding Belongings For Ransom. Consumers Beware! Protect Yourself!

This company contacted me by getting my info from the Movers.com website. They called me 13 times until I answered. I should have known right there and then. They Loaded my entire 2 bedroom apartment onto their truck. They then pretended that their truck broke down and kept my items overnight. The next day they bring the truck to my storage facility and present me with a bill that is 3 times the amount agreed to. They then called the police as if I wouldn’t pay them and to cover their backs. What they didn’t realize is that the I knew the officers on scene and their Police chief as well. The Police would not accept their report but could not force them to off load because its a civil matter in Broward county. Police are powerless to force an unload. So in desperation the drivers left with all of my belongings. The owner of the company called me to tell me that he will not release my items until I paid up the extorted amount.

He also threatened to charge me $150 per day as he sits on it. These people are an unsavory group of criminals. They are extremely skilled at what they do. I will be exhausting my options as course of action including the state Attorrney, FDOT, and other agencies. If you encounter these people, RUN! Don’t wind up in my shoes. Covid has caused irreparable harm to me.This company is praying upon people at their most vulnerable time. This is the nail in my coffin.

Horrible scammers

These people quoted me $75/ hour on the first text and after reserving an appointment decided to sneak charges that I was NOT notified of. They invoiced me 7x what I was initially quoted. The job was to deliver a 2 piece small couch only 20 minutes away.I spoke to customer service and the guy, Joe, was disgustingly rude, mocked me and told me not to call again and hung up on me. Please do NOT work with this fraud company.

THIS COMPANY IS MADE OF PROFESSIONAL THIEVES, STAY AWAY FROM THEM!!!

First time I was a victim of a scheme like this. This company TWO MAN MOVING make a false advertisement that the cost is $99 an hour for moving and there are several hidden costs that nobody explains to you at any time until you sign a contract with some normal clauses but a the secret on how they steal your money is a table in blank, literally in blank. On the phone, they are real professional scammers. An attendant named Mike called me and being all time polite and trained asked me to describe everything I had at home, everything I asked him was possible to do, also he told me that the movers could even change a cooktop what was a lie, and when they send you the confirmation by email it even looks like a professional company, and that's what they want, earn your trust.

On the day of the move, an outsourced truck arrived with two outsourced professionals and they confirmed to me that they don`t work for the company TWO MAN MOVING and one of them was in a summer program. Well, the first thing they do is give you a one page contract with some terms and a blank table with some costs that were never mentioned, and as we are paying by the hour many people end up signing without checking the small letters mentioning several terms never mentioned before and in this contract they mention that all is based on the original estimate by phone, what they never mentioned to you before. Well, when you sign this page, the table it's still blank and that's where the scam starts.

They start to pack your things with various materials and there is no question of how much material they intend to use or whether or not they intend to pack your stuffs, as there was no prior communication you do not question each step and let the two men work. Well, the loading is extremely slow, since they charge you by the hour, everything is thought of, until the truck is 100% loaded.

When they arrive at the final destination they first add from their minds several fees that never, never communicated as: travel cost, yes they charged me $247 because they traveled 2:30 hrs to arrive and they never told me they would charge this or that they were at a certain distance, they charged fuel surcharge without even informing me about the cost per mile, they charged me $150 per heavy item without even mentioning that this fee existed and not even explaining any criteria to define something as heavy or not. The most absurd, besides all this, they charged a COVID fee since they didn't even wear a mask and there was no procedure regarding COVID at all. Well, other than that they charged each material they used by their own without me seeing the amount used and they deliberately used tapes and boxes because they knew it was part of the scam.

At the end they don't give you a chance to discuss anything as they have all your furniture in the truck and as you signed a contract with a blank table they fill everything in pen later with the costs that were unilaterally decided and claim that because you signed and obliged you to pay. That's because the amount they informed me was 99 an hour which would be approximately $790 for 8 hours and the estimate was 6 and at the end they charged me $2,300 with all these extra fees.

Well, already knowing how people react when they realize the scam the company force you to pay in cash or Zelle so you don't have the possibility of going to the banks later to suspend the payment or fight for your rights.

SCAMMERS...SCAMMERS...SCAMMERS

If I could give zero stars I would. I am a single mom who just bought my first house for my son and I and this is what happened... First they were 40 minutes late, because they went for breakfast. When they got to my house I showed them what I needed moved. I was moving a 2 bedroom house and I only wanted them to move the big stuff...couch, beds, dressers, kitchen table and chairs, ect. Shame on me for not looking inside the truck before they started loading. When we got to my destination and they unloaded the truck, they did't set my beds back up or even put the back of the couch together, when I said that they were supposed to do that , they said No they don't do that. they also wouldn't put my couch in the back room because they said it wouldn't fit, so they left it in the fronchroom with the oher couch. This is the part that's really B.S....I was supposed to get an EMPTY 26' truck and when they were done I went outside there was a good 6 feet with furniture (Couch, mattress and box spring), in the front of the truck. When I asked what that stuff left in the truck was... I was told it was theirs. They also had empty open boxes on the side of the truck, No wonder I couldn't get all my stuff moved! When I went to take a picture of the inside of the truck, they closed and locked the door. I called the office and spoke with Thomas, a few times on Sunday, I told him about this and he said he would check with them and call me back, and guess what??? No Call Back, Shocker!!!! They also made me sign their contract before they would even start loaded my stuff, which I thought was weird, but I needed to move. They said that it should take about 6-7 hours plus a 75.00 fuel surcharge. When we got to my new house and the one mover said he was going to complete the contract and bring to me for payment- BEFORE they would unload. I said No you need to unload first and they said No I had to pay first and only by Zelle, Money order or cash. When I saw my bill for $1,476.32 I almost fell on the ground. They charged me 232.50 to put a piece of bubblewrap and a box over my one 55" TV, plastic bag for my mattresses and some packingtape and then they charged me 150.00 for an item that was over 200 pounds...I asked what item and they said first, it was a dresser then no it was the exercise bike. I asked where is the scale to show me that it's over 200 pounds and they just said that they just know...so I guess they are psychicic too. They also charged me a 55.00 Covid Fee and when I called the office, again, I was told asked what that was for, I was told they clean the truck after each use, and that is completely B.S. because that truck was filthy. My fuel surcharge was 97.00 not 75.00 and they charged me 2.5 hours for Travel time. I wish I would have read all these reviews before I ever hired them. they have a nice website and when I spoke with the scheduler, I really felt like they were going to do a great job.

Boy, was I wrong. These Russian guys are crooks and I hope you read this and NEVER EVER Hire them.

Scammers

Please be aware this company is a scam. This company is the most unprofessional moving company i have ever come across. The manager is a liar and made false promises, lied for the services they would provide. They left all my stuff by the elevator & did not put in the storage space as promised. They claim they charge by the hour but then charged me an extra $1055 (Not agreed or mentioned before) saying that my stuff was overweight. They promised to move all my stuff but only took half of it and ran away before moving the other half. They charged me in full price in advance. The manager has stopped returning calls. Complete scam. Please avoid these people.

RUN AWAY FAST FROM THESE SCAMMERS

This company is a SCAM. DO NOT sign their contract until they have given you the final amount. They hand wrote over $1200 worth of services AFTER I signed the contract - sevices which they never provided. For example they charged me $300 alone for 10 mirrors when they only halfly-packaged ONE mirror with bubble wrap. That is only the beginning. They sent my this total bill via text message as we were driving on the highway. Once we arrived at the location they sequestered my belongings until I paid them in cash or zelle (which is not FDIC insured so you can't dispute it). The icing on the cake is that they damaged MULTIPLE pieces including two white wooden night stands and a West Elm couch. If you take any advice at all...it's to run far away from this company.

Contract Bait and Switch

Do not believe anything this company tells you! I was given a rate quote for $99 all included. I called a number of other companies, and 99/hour all included seemed fair. When all was said and done they tried to charge me over $400 more than what I was anticipating paying. They fill additional numbers into the contract after you sign it, I wish I had thought to take a picture of what it said WHEN I signed it, not when they presented it for payment.

I was told my things would be disassembled and reassembled in my new home. That couldn't be further from what actually happened! After speaking with a supervisor when they presented me a bill that I was totally unprepared for, I furnished payment of $600. (755 was what they told me the bill was even though the person on the phone who booked my move knew I was on a budget and told me they could have the move done and shouldn't cost me more than 350) They proceeded to unpack my belongings and dropped many items onto the sidewalk from the gate of the truck that was still in the air. Left all of my belongings sitting in the middle of my living room stacked up against a wall and refused to put them in the correct rooms even. Please don't let this happen to you! I am filing a better Business bureau complaint. There are also expired tags on the truck from December of 2021. I feel so duped! What a horrible company!

Stay away from these scammers

Contacted these hustlers for a quote and was quoted: $325 for a 3 hour move + any aditional hours at $90 per hour. $55 for fuel. After signing the contact and all my stuff packed into their truck I get the following bogus charges added to the contract and the truck was still at the old location. These were added when I was not around and sent to me via text: $98.89 Fuel charge. $540 for 6 hours. $75 Truck cleaning fee. $118.5 Packaging materials ( They said they would come with boxes and no boxes were offered, I had to look for empty boxes in the property garbage can) They were supposed to be there at 3pm and got there at 4pm. Move ended at 7:20pm $832.39 fee was paid when they arrived at the final destination. Manager said that a zelle refund will be given for unused time. Manger and or workers did not provide a refund. Manager stopped responding after he requested my zelle number. I have tried to contact the manager after numerous times for the refind to no avail. Do not use these scammers they take advantage of the fact that your belongins are in their truck and are held for ransome. Zelle was sent to Leonid Poplevin 5619189394. People beware these guys are scum bags and will force you to pay triple for your move. These guys will get busted one of these days Karma is a bitch!

Scams, Lies, and Deceipt

Was quoted, in writing, by email $90.00 per hour, minimum 3hours, plus $69 fuel surcharge. Text message for start time came at 10:30 am. By 12:30 pm truck was at storage unit 2 hours after start, unload time when it was finally done took half an hour. Total should have been $339.00 + tax. Driver had us sign a document with some numbers on it. After the truck was loaded, he ADDED numbers to it and said the total was $805.00!! The manager, who stated his name was "Mike" accused me of making threats before I finished the first sentence, obviously he was scripted from plenty of practice with the situation. After 5 minutes he tried explaining that the call was being recorded where I immediately told him I now hope it was as You're supposed to LEGALLY disclose recorded calls upfront as it's a crime to record a call without upfront disclosure. By the way, Mike's real name is Igor Titov. After my friends from the Broward Sheriffs Dept. showed up, he agreed to almost the original number and instructed his movers to leave the furniture in the parking lot of the storage facility, my vehicle was parked where they couldn't move so they had no choice but to put it in the storage unit. It wasn't the driver's issue so we left them a tip and let them know they should never contract from them again. I am starting a class action suit against them so I need 4 more people to jump aboard and help stop these scammers from doing this again!

Professional thieves! i hope they go to prison

These guys are profesional thieves. They will tell you the moving is 75 per hour and will assure you there are no hidden fees, but then, after arriving the new place, they won't discharge your staff until you pay them a crazy amount. I moved from one studio to another apartment two miles away and the total was 731 from 225 we talked that were gonna be. They charged me for covid and were not even wearing masks (i had to give them masks). They hit and broke some of my furniture. Such a traumatic experience!!! When I called the manager (the person who gave me the quote) to complain about the fees his guys were charging me, he told me that will tell his guy to take the truck back with my staff and will charge me extra 250 usd for every day he holds my staff.

I really hope they go to prison where they deserve to be. Please, dont ever think to work with this company!!!

No integrity, thieves

First off I was quoted a price of $1100. I told them that I just needed someone, because I'm pregnant, to pack my stuff and load it onto my uhaul for me (to save myself money),but if they could pack and load and transport all my stuff for under $1700, then we had a deal. The company agreed.

Movers were 45 minutes late arriving. They didn't have tools to disassemble anything. I had provided more than half of the boxes, bubble wrap, and tape, yet they charged me $8.50 per box. Their packing job was amateur at best, no blankets over furniture, banging into walls. Then when they didn't have the tool (a socket wrench) they left 2 of my TV mounts in the wall.

Once they arrived to my new house, (4 hr trip going the speed limit and during traffic) they present an invoice for $2669 and refuse to unload my stuff until I paid it.

$500+ in moving supplies, most of which I supplied. $900 for 12 hrs travel time, which at most should not have taken more than 8 hrs round trip. $175 fuel surcharge and the remainder in labor cost.

To top it all off, none of the boxes were labeled, so unpacking has been a nightmare,, they unloaded the boxes only to garage. Because my pregnant self can carry heavy boxes up my stairs ? AND didn't reassemble ANYTHING.

$1000 over quoted price, careless packing, no tools, no compassion and no integrity.

WORST experience ever!

Worst Moving Company EVER!!!!

When I was looking for a company to move my mother from my house to an apartment, this company called with a quote of $370 for a minimum of 3 hours, 2 men, and gas. At no time was I informed of an additional cost due to COVID, nor was I informed of a "double drive time" because my mothers apartment is more than 10 miles from my home. Had I known that I was going to be charged for 5.5 hours instead of just the 3, I would have found a different company. I understand that this is all listen in the quote they send you, HOWEVER, it should be stated on the phone at the time of the original quote. You cannot tell someone $370 and then charge them an extra $223 AFTER everything is on the truck and refuse to take it off until all monies are paid. I paid for 5.5 hours of work that took 2.5 hours to complete (and that's after spending almost an hour trying to get the money sent to the damn account in the first place.) I had my 2 year old running around in the sun for an hour while I tried to get the money taken care of because my mother didn't have anything to sit on due to her furniture being held practically at ransom until I paid them. Worst move EVER!!!

Stay Away From These Guys

I hired these guys for a 2 mile move in Pembroke Pines Fl, on Feb. 11, 2021, which consisted of 2 bedroom sets, a living room set and a dining table, was quoted a price of $75.00 an hour with a minimum of 3 hours, $325.00. They sent 2 Russian guys who spoke very little English, these gugs spent hours wrapping everything in recycled cardboard, when they finally got to my place, they held my stuff hostage and refused to unload them, until I paid $1376.50 and would only accept payment by cash or Zelle, or they would leave with my stuff. After I paid the ransom, they unloaded my furniture and left without unrapping the furniture or giving me a copy of the contract. Please stay away from these crooks.

Beware!!

This review is on twomanmovingllc@gmail.com . On the day of move, the name on the truck that showed up was ‘a couple of movers LLC’

1.the person who provides you the quote will not pick up the phone on the day of the move nor responds via company email.

**make sure email quote confirmation is from a legitimate email address with no hidden charges**

2. Before loading, They will ask to sign a binding document that lists hourly rate.

**before loading your stuff, get a copy of the document , otherwise you will see a huge amount magically appear on the line items ***

3. This where the real drama starts... the guys will politely say they will take it to storage if the ransom is not paid..even the customer service will say they have the recording with the person who is ‘unavailable’ .

SCAMMERS!!! WORST MOVERS EVER!! DO NOT HIRE!!!

I never write reviews but I am so appalled by this company, I need to inform anyone out there thinking of hiring this company. My story is similar to all of the other poor reviews. I hired Two Man Moving for a small 1 bedroom move 20 miles total distance. My initial quote was for a total of 3 hours, 2 hours labor plus 1 hour drive time for $225. They sent me an email with a link to the initial quote and everything looked ok. The day of the move they were 1.5 hours late. Before they started moving I had to sign the contract which was for 3 hours, plus a $53 gas surcharge, plus $45 covid cleaning. I explained to them that I was never told of any additional fees. I reluctantly signed it and I started helping the two Russian movers unload my apartment, which only took 30 minutes. I drove to my new house and waited for the movers, after 1.5 hours I called the movers asking where were they. He said there was a problem with the truck and he had to pull over. I asked if I would be charged for this time and he said no. After 2.5 hours they finally showed up. Before they unloaded my furniture I had to pay them, when they showed me the contract I signed they added 2.5 hour drive time plus $95 in packing materials plus 3 hours labor for a total of $609. I was outraged by this amount. The only items that had packing materials which consisted of bubble wrap and tape were for a 50" tv and medium sized mirror. That should hardly cost $95. They didn't use any blankets for the furniture. I spoke to the general manager and explained to him that he never told me about any additional fees and a double drive time. He said that it was in the quote sent to the email, I disagreed and would obviously remember him mentioning double drive time and additional fees, when I looked at the email with a link to the quote, it was a completely different quote from the original email. The original quote no longer showed up from the link. So I paid the $609 instead of them keeping my furniture at $250/day. The movers started unloading the truck and placed all my furniture on the driveway. They moved a few light items into my house and after 30 minutes they said they were finished and left all of my heavy furniture in the driveway. I told them I paid you for 3 hours labor and only received 1 hour. They didn't care and left not finishing the job. I called the company and spoke to the GM, he said he would call me back. Obviously he didn't call me back and blocked my number. I used a different phone to call and they answered, when they knew it was me they blocked that number as well. I will be filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau, The Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration, the American Moving and Storage Association, the Federal Trade Commission, and the State Attorney General's Office. I rather not have to waste all of this negative energy but I do not want to see this company take advantage of anyone else. It is my own fault for not doing my due diligence and checking on reviews before I hired this company. I usually always do research before buying anything but I have moved so many times in my life and have never had a problem. Please do not hire this company.

Beware

I hired Two Man Moving to move for my daughter from Boca Raton to Boynton Beach which is an 18 mile move. First of all, they were 2 hours late secondly, they charged me 2.5 hours for them to drive to and from Miami to implement the move which they DID NOT tell me they were going to do. They wanted me to pay them for the drive to satellite beach.... excuse me but how do I even know your driving form here to Miami. When you look up their business address no building comes up it literally gives you the middle of the road and a view of a parking lot. I’m so glad I backed out of it. It would have been double the price which was not discussed. Andre was so unprofessional as soon as I cancelled my move. Like texting me non stop so I had to block him. Just don’t do it. I saved myself the headache. And yes they showed up in a truck that wasn’t even their logo like what??

DO NOT HIRE THEM SCAM ARTISTS

This company scams people, especially women. They will cancel your reservation then charge you a last minute booking fee. They will change the quotes after you sign off on them. The manager screamed at me accusing me of entering the wrong phone number and then added on a $225 charge. I physically moved all of my stuff myself to my elevator all they did was load and unload a truck and it was $800. I wrote a more detailed review on BBB. I wish i searched them prior. Do yourself a favor do not hire them under any circumstance. They will lie , they are pro con artits who need to be put out of business and I'd gladly join in a law suit against them to prevent this from occurring again. also THEY ONLY TAKE CASH !!!

Moving in Boca

When I called and spoke to Andre, he said it was $85 an hour, plus COVID protection, for a total of $300 for 3 hours. I told him they'd pick up from one location, deliver to another, dump some old stuff and bring in other stuff. He said "just tell them what you need. I received many emails from similar companies (Two men movers, Two Man Movers, Two- Men. I only dealt with Andre so I only opened texts from him). "You have them for 3 hours." Before they unloaded the expensive furniture from the first stop, they demanded $810. I told them I was quoted $300. I called Andre and he said that there was a travel fee, and a fuel surcharge fee, and used materials fee etc. These charges weren't on the contract that I signed before they started work. Also, my husband and the realtor heard the two men laughing and saying derogatory words about us Jews.

I'll never use this company and I'll tell the offices of Century Village to blacklist them
